Klein & Solomon strongly believes in making a difference through philanthropic activities. Both as a law firm and individually, Klein & Solomon's attorneys provide legal counsel and volunteer hours to nonprofits and legal institutions.

Klein & Solomon has represented a wide range of charitable institutions in tax litigation and applications for real estate, water and sewer tax exemptions. Klein & Solomon assisted Congregation Beth Jacob in its development of a new 15,000-square-foot multipurpose facility. We have spearheaded capital campaigns for several charities, including the Center for Russian Return/Kehilas Moreshes Yaakov.

Edward E. Klein has personally advised faith-based institutions, religious schools and members of the clergy in their legal affairs.

Jay B. Solomon is regularly at the forefront of litigation to protect charitable enterprises from foreclosure and eviction. He volunteers as an arbitrator for the Small Claims Court of the City of New York and evaluates candidates for judicial office as a member of the Judiciary Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association.
