To All Our Faithful Readers:

Best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year. The Jewish New Year was celebrated on September 30 and October 1, 2008. May the coming year bring blessings to you, your families and the entire world.

I have a personal request to make. My mother suffered a very bad stroke several weeks ago. At the present time, she is back in the medical intensive care unit of Lutheran Medical Center. Please pray for her recovery by reciting psalms and pray for the complete recovery of Pesel Rochel Bas Chana Leah. The power of your prayers are immense. Please help me and my family at this difficult time.

Any of the psalms are fine, but Chapters 20, 6, 9, 30 and 130 are especially appropriate at this time. Thank you for giving me your time and may the one above bless you and your families.

Because of the schedule of the Jewish holidays over the course of October, 2008, I have suspended my postings until November 6, 2008. I am sure there will be a great deal to report after our presidential elections are concluded.

Once again, wishing you a happy and healthy New Year. With due respect and admiration. ---Edward E. Klein
